2020 Erik Dalton Scholarship Winner
Congratulations to the winner of the 2020 Indiana State University Erik Dalton Scholarship Award winner… Heidi Zeigler
Heidi is a senior at Indiana State University majoring in exercise Science with a minor in Massage Therapy.
This scholarship allows her to continue her education at ISUk as well as to find more opportunities to reach her dreams of becoming a massage therapist and a professional in the field of kinesiology, recreation and sports therapy.
Erik Dalton has partnered with Indiana State University to create the only minor degree in massage therapy program offered by a major United States university. To provide assistance to students and encourage other universities to follow suit, Erik Dalton has established a scholarship fund.
Indiana State University has the only Minor in Massage Therapy at the university level in the United States. It is aptly named the “Advanced Myoskeletal Massage Therapy Program“
To elevate the status and continued growth of the Indiana State University program, the Freedom From Pain Institute is in the process of financing an ongoing continuing education scholarship grant to help fund qualified and passionate students of physical medicine. Help us elevate the profession and encourage other universities to follow suit. Consider donating to the scholarship fund and help massage students in need. Donations of any amount, even as little as $10, helps the cause. All donors will be publicly acknowledged on the Erik Dalton blog and in the Techniques Tuesday newsletter (donation amount will not be disclosed).
